Job Description

As Electronics Engineering Team Leader, you will support the development of our new instruments and improvements of the products already on the market. To achieve excellent instrument performances, leading a team of electrical/electronics engineers, you will identify new opportunities to improve the instruments under development. The role requires capability to manage people, and technical skills to cover product innovation, proof of concept, design, and industrialization phase.

Responsibilities:

Leadership:

• Leading the M&M electrical/electronics engineers team located on site and remote: training, setting objectives of the team, acting as career mentor, supervising working time and absence, managing compensation and benefits and performance process.

Technical:

• Plan, organize and ensure the realization and completion of engineering tasks assigned to you.
• Support the technical realization of prototypes and products.
• Support the industrialization and certification process for the developed products.
• Support internal (e.g. Manufacturing, Global Technical Support) and external customers.
• Communicate and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to consider technical constraints in the electronic design to ensure proper operation of the final product.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Master, PhD in Electrical Engineering or Electronics Engineering.
• Proven experience in electronic engineering, product development or a similar position.
• Very good knowledge of Altium software.
• Experience in designing electronics for data acquisition of SSD (CMOS, CCD,...) based instruments.
• Experience in spectrometry/spectroscopy is helpful.
• Proficient in hands-on work with the ability to take initiative in design, testing, and product certification.
• Teammate, technical leadership, autonomous.
• Proficient in English.
