Due to the promotion of the incumbent, we have this exciting position available. In the role of the Senior Global Product Manager Industrial Valves, you will own the product lifecycle for our industrial valve portfolio, from strategy and development to launch and support by collaborating cross-functionally with engineering, sales, marketing, supply chain, and customers to define and deliver innovative, high-performing valve solutions that meet market demands and drive business growth.

Your tasks:

• Develop and execute the product strategy and roadmap for the valve product line
• Conduct market research, customer interviews, and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and unmet needs
• Define product requirements, specifications, and business cases in collaboration with engineering and sales
• Drive new product development initiatives and manage the full product lifecycle from concept to end-of-life
• Monitor product performance and customer satisfaction; lead continuous improvement efforts
• Support sales and marketing with technical product information, training, and promotional material
• Manage product pricing, margin, and positioning to optimize profitability
• Act as the internal and external product expert, including participation in customer visits, trade shows, and technical presentations

Your profile:

• A bachelor's or master’s degree in engineering with a focus on business economics or a comparable technical or economic field of study, and/or a technical apprenticeship and additional training
• A minimum of 6 years of extensive experience in managing a product portfolio in the field of valves (is essential for this position)
• Strong ability to translate customer needs into solutions and understand the impact of technologies, with the ability to adapt to change and competing demands
• Pro-active nature who likes to take the initiative and ownership
• Used to working across teams and departments with the ability to structure and coordinate different stakeholders
• English and German language skills must be at a high professional level
• Willingness to travel worldwide up to 15% of the time
