The purpose of this role is a client executive position working within a dynamic team setting. The role involves managing commercial accounts alongside an account director and developing an established commercial book of business.

Sales and Activity Management:

  • Responsible for client insurance requirements, including inviting, securing, and documenting renewals, as well as mid-year alterations and claims handling, following agreed protocols and procedures.
  • Achieve individual income targets.
  • Provide account support to Account Director(s) for set clients or on an ad hoc basis as requested.
  • Meet upsell and cross-sell targets.
  • Follow agreed processes in all matters.
  • Manage aged debt and premium collection.
  • Comply with all management audit requirements.

Customer Relationship Management:

  • Build effective relationships with customers by establishing trust, anticipating needs, sharing information, and meeting commitments.
  • Address customer issues related to queries, quotes, etc.

Customer Service:

  • Maintain a professional image to meet or exceed customer service standards.
  • Ensure high accuracy and quality in work.
  • Handle requests and inquiries from customers, staff, and management professionally and promptly.

Team Collaboration:

  • Work closely with designated Account Director(s) if applicable.
  • Collaborate within the team to meet all customer needs.
  • Contribute to achieving monthly and yearly targets.

Compliance:

  • Work with team managers and compliance teams to ensure file records meet prescribed standards.

Requirements:

  • Minimum APA qualification, working towards CIP qualification.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong communication skills are essential.
  • Positive attitude with adaptability to change.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage deadlines and prioritize workload.
  • Good technical and product knowledge.
  • Ability to handle unforeseen events with flexibility.
  • Organized with a structured approach to time and resource management.

Person Specification:

  • CIP qualification preferable.
  • Experience with Open I is advantageous.
  • Proficient in Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Friendly and assertive communication skills, especially on the phone.
  • Ability to develop relationships with insurers and clients.
  • Willingness to learn and develop.
  • Strong work ethic.
