The Director of Supply Planning process Deliver is responsible for leading and optimizing the supply planning function across deliver operations. This senior leadership role ensures the effective alignment of supply chain strategies with business goals, driving process standardization, efficiency, and standard methodologies in supply planning and inventory management. The position reports to the Senior Director Supply Planning and collaborates closely with leaders from Deliver, Operations, Procurement, Logistics & Regional teams.
Define and govern the global Deliver supply planning & capacity operating model across a multi‑region network of owned and 3PL distribution centers and transportation partners. Be responsible for the frameworks for planning policy, IBP integration, Drive standardized processes, value realization, and risk/resilience outcomes while enabling regions to implement consistently
Set the multi‑year Deliver strategy for process aligned to service, cost, and cash goals; define target process optimization and governance forums
Publish global playbooks for DCs and transportation (SOPs, RACIs, indicators, controls) and ensure regional adoption via maturity assessments
Support design and delivery for Deliver, inputs/outputs for Supply Review and Management Business Review, including connection to inventory glide path and capacity/labor planning standards
Establish scenario frameworks (allocation, mode mix, network risk, launches) and decision guardrails tied to P&L and working capital.
Define global planning and execution policies: safety stock/DOI targets, lead‑time standards, pack hierarchies, ASN/EDI conformance, carrier/service‑tier rules.
Run parameter stewardship and process controls; supervise policy conformance and drive corrective actions with regions.
Sponsor the control‑tower and analytics design (OTIF/DIFOT, Perfect Order, DOI/DSI, cost‑to‑serve, decision latency, emissions).
3PL/Partner Governance Framework
Define the global 3PL/carrier process model
Work with margin acceleration program to ensure process capability for value realization portfolio with validated benefits
Build Deliver capabilities (process, data, systems); define certification pathways (APICS/CSCP/CLTD) and training for regions.
Lead global organisational change and communications; reduce decision latency and improve process adherence.
Blueprint creation & availability to full Deliver organization aligned to standard methodologies for external benchmark
Process maturity index by region/DC, baseline
Policy conformance % (lead times, ASN, inventory targets), decision latency (Supply→MBR)
Integration success rate (WMS/TMS/EDI), data FPY (locations, lanes, pack hierarchies), adoption of control‑tower dashboards
Ability to build effective partnering relationships using persuading and influencing skills
Strong organization skills and an interest in planning
Can drive continuous process improvements.
Ability to translate sophisticated situations into simple working solutions.
Ability to manage people in a complex structure with an interest in mentor and developing leaders.

10+ years in Deliver/Logistics/Distribution with significant experience defining strategy and global processes; multi‑region exposure required.
Validated ownership of IBP design for Deliver and linkage to P&L/working capital; scenario and policy design expertise.
Strong systems and data background: ERP, APS, WMS, TMS, EDI/API standards
APICS/CSCP/CLTD/CPIM and/or Lean Six Sigma; degree in Supply Chain/Operations/Engineering
Black Belt six‑sigma certification.
Supply chain experience in medical device or pharmaceutical industry.
Deep understanding of financial processes.
Experienced ERP / Planning Systems User.
