ABOUT THE JOB
The Technical Knowledge Consultant (TKC) will help elevate the department’s understanding of new functionality. The TKC will not be responsible for writing documentation or creating training materials but will mentor team members, assist in onboarding new hires, and enable the team to handle more complex assignments.
To succeed, you should have experience with the OneStream platform, a strong desire to learn and share knowledge, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. You must be self-motivated, accountable, ethical, personable, and persistent.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Knowledge Capture
- Investigate product features and solutions to expedite content development for training courses.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and attend Sprint calls to understand upcoming features, becoming a SME to enable training content creation and documentation validation.
- Identify use-cases for new features to accelerate community enablement.
- Liaise with support teams to address concerns and develop documentation or training solutions.
Enablement
- Serve as a SME to the Product Knowledge department.
- Use effective knowledge transfer to accelerate departmental deliverables.
- Deliver training and enablement sessions to deepen understanding of the platform.
- Mentor new hires to build their knowledge of the platform and solutions.
- Identify gaps in knowledge to improve documentation and training content.
- Maintain and update the OneStream application used for course creation.
- Validate content for the Release Highlights eLearning course.
Content Validation
- Support the Documentation team with practical use cases for reference materials and release notes.
- Assist the Content Development team in ensuring technical accuracy of learning assets.
REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- BSc / MSc in Computer Science, Finance, Accounting, or Information Technology.
- 3+ years of OneStream experience supporting engineering, enablement, delivery, or product management teams.
- Technical proficiency with enterprise technologies.
- Experience in a growth environment requiring adaptability and quick thinking.
- Ability to analyze and communicate technical issues effectively.
PREFERRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Background in accounting or finance.
- Equivalent to a OneStream Certified Architect.
- Knowledge of SQL databases and VB.net.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

- Comfortable teaching groups and addressing audiences.
- Ability to learn and explain complex technical topics.
- Knowledge of CPM/EPM applications like OneStream, Oracle/Hyperion, SAP, Anaplan, and Tagetik.
- Experience in financial reporting, multi-dimensional modeling, integration, reporting, forecasting, and planning within CPM domains.
- Passion for learning new technologies.
