Head of Process Engineering

About the Role

In this position, you will assume strategic and operational responsibility for the Process Engineering division. You will actively shape the future of modern process and infrastructure plants, driving technical visions from initial conception to successful commissioning.

Your responsibilities

• You will be responsible for setting up the Process Engineering department and for its professional and disciplinary management.
• Planning, optimization and continuous development of process engineering systems.
• Technical design of equipment and systems across all project phases.
• Full budget and schedule responsibility for complex client projects.
• Providing expert advice to clients and actively supporting the acquisition process for new projects.
• Close collaboration with internal departments and external partners.

Your expertise

• Completed studies in process engineering, chemical engineering, mechanical engineering or a comparable field.
• At least 5 years of professional experience in an industrial engineering environment as well as sound project experience.
• Confident handling of technical regulations and sound knowledge in the regulated GMP environment.
• Fluent German and very good English skills for international exchange.
