Our client, a privately held company with 2,500 employees, is hiring a Security Engineer based in their headquarters in Luzern. Reporting to the Head of Engineering, you will be the key point of contact for security topics, ensuring robust protection of IT systems.

Key responsibilities

1. Manage, configure and optimise firewall systems
2. Monitor IT systems for security incidents and vulnerabilities
3. Lead responses to incidents and conduct regular audits
4. Coordinate with external partners for testing and assessments
5. Support IT projects, integrating security from the ground up

Your profile

1. Strong expertise in IT security, with a focus on firewalls and network protection
2. Solid knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, VPN, routing, switching, etc.)
3. Fluent German and English proficiency
4. An analytical mindset and proactive approach to problem-solving
