Site Reliability Engineer

Role Overview

We are seeking a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join our client’s infrastructure team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, performance, and scalability of their cloud platforms. You will help automate systems, optimize performance, and maintain critical infrastructure that supports thousands of users.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee service availability and reliability across production and staging environments.
• Develop and implement infrastructure automation and monitoring solutions.
• Plan and execute infrastructure updates, scaling, and improvements.
• Participate in on-call duties to support system uptime.
• Support the deployment and operation of private cloud and container technologies.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to embed DevOps practices.

Key Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Linux systems administration.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure platforms (e.g. OpenStack or similar).
• Solid knowledge of networking, web technologies, and database systems (e.g. MySQL).
• Familiarity with container technologies like Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of automation/configuration tools such as Ansible or Puppet is a plus.
• Comfortable communicating in English and ideally fluent in French or another European language.
• Strong problem-solving skills, autonomy, and a collaborative spirit.
• Genuine interest in sustainability, data privacy, and open-source technologies.
