Due to a store expansion, a unique opportunity has arisen for a career-focused Pharmacy Assistant to have a role tailored to their experience, qualifications, attributes, and wishes.

This private owner-operator pharmacy has a long track record of success, with strong local support, customer engagement, and community appeal.

It is a busy, traditional-style independent, customer-focused pharmacy that we all know and love, without the hassles, time-wasting, and stock issues associated with large banner groups.

Located in Adelaide's inner south, you’ll report directly to the store owner rather than a BDM.

Applicants will have the desire to extend their business acumen and will be given opportunities to progress their managerial and pharmacy practice knowledge.

Previous experience in stock control, ordering, and liaising with company representatives will be highly regarded.

The role suits a variety of applicants, from those wishing to further their pharmacy knowledge and career, to those seeking a senior role with more support and potentially fewer responsibilities than their current position.

A flexible roster of 25-38 hours per week is available, depending on the applicant’s needs and suitability. An attractive salary will be offered, commensurate with experience and ability.

Desired Skills and Knowledge

• Certificate II (or above) in community pharmacy
• Previous experience as a managerial pharmacy assistant
• Knowledge of 8CPA and QCPP claiming and programs
• NDSS and Webster Care systems
• Excellent communication skills with staff, customers, and company representatives
• Attention to detail, maintaining high professional standards and integrity
• Proficiency with MINFOS Point of Sale System
• Ability to participate confidently in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment
• Solution selling skills, enhancing customer engagement
