The role is based in Europe, Turin, and involves travel to other EU countries, as well as to the Middle East, Africa, and the Far East, in support of the audit plan.

Responsibilities

  • Review the operations of the audited business and assess how environmental, energy, and health & safety issues are managed in relation to applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Collect data on business operations through on‑site inspections, document reviews, staff interviews, and other relevant methods.
  • Examine business records for government permits, regulatory requirements, key performance indicators (KPIs), maintenance logs, and inventory control measures.
  • Evaluate management systems, including relevant procedures and monitoring programs.
  • Assess employee training programs and procedures, as well as the work environment, for compliance with governmental and corporate standards.
  • Prepare and compile final audit reports, including audit results and recommendations for improvements.
  • Draft all necessary working papers to support the analyses conducted during the audit.
  • Perform cross‑reviews of working papers prepared by peers and fellow auditors.
  • Present audit findings to business managers and directors.
  • Conduct follow‑up reviews to ensure that recommended improvements have been successfully implemented.
  • Periodically monitor and verify the status of action plans resulting from previous audits.
  • Carry out periodic risk assessments, potentially involving senior management at Stellantis (levels N‑1, N‑2, N‑3, and other hierarchical levels as necessary).
  • Proactively review regulatory developments that may impact the effectiveness of risk assessments and audit execution.
  • Approximately 50% travel to domestic and international facilities/sites is required.
  • A valid standard driving license is required.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in an environmental, health & safety‑related field (e.g., MS in Engineering), or—if holding a different bachelor’s degree—solid experience in the subject matter.
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in auditing, EEHS compliance audits, and/or program management within manufacturing or equivalent industrial settings.
  • Working knowledge of environmental, energy, and health & safety regulatory requirements, as well as relevant management systems including ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and ISO 50001.
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills, effective communication abilities (fluency in Italian and English required; proficiency in an additional language is a plus), and solid report‑writing capabilities.
  • Proficient computer skills and professional‑level knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (O365 / Online Collaboration version).
  • Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively in both Italian and English.
  • Familiarity with risk management principles and control objectives/activities.
  • Possession of a valid standard driving license.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Possession of the ISO certifications for ISO 14001, 45001 and 50001.
  • Additional language skills in French, Spanish, Portuguese, German.
