Human Resources Director (m/f)

Location: Chantilly
Salary benchmark: USD 125,000 - 150,000

Your tasks

  • Develop and implement talent management strategies to align with business growth and performance goals and objectives.  Consult and advise divison business leaders on all aspects of human resources strategy, operations and policy.
  • Develop and Implement HR initiatives for all areas of the HR function, including, but not limited to: organizational development and effectiveness, employee development, on-boarding, recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compensation, and benefits
  • Manage employee relations issues including responding to charges from state and federal agencies such as the EEOC. Ensure Affirmative Action Plan(s) are current, and plan and manage OFCCP compliance reviews.
  • Develop strong partnership with  Corporate HR COEs and division business leaders to ensure alignment  and support of both enterprise wide and business initiatives
  • Direct talent management initiatives including performance management, employee training, organizational development, and succession planning.  Ensure efforts are synchronized with Government Services organizational development/organizational effectiveness initiatives related to talent management.
  • Provide counsel and lead organization optimization including restructuring, realignment and other methods for optimizing the people resources

Your profile

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business, or related field, or equivalent education and experience.  Masters Degree preferred
  • 10 -12 years of HR experience with at least 5 years in HR Management positions.
  • PHR, SPHR or GPHR preferred
  • Labor Relations certification a plus
  • Knowledge and experience with SCA a plus
  • Fnctional expertise/skills; demonstrated working knowledge of all areas within Human Resources (e.g., sourcing, recruiting, employee relations, compensation, benefits, organizational development, compliance, training, development, diversity, affirmative action, etc.).
  • Strong investigative/analytical/decision analysis skills.
  • Senior level business consultation, partnering and influencing / consultation skills.  Strong business acumen,  and organizational agility.
  • Excellent diagnostic, design and facilitation skills. Strong written and verbal communications skills.
  • Action oriented, operational excellence and ability to juggle multiple priorities in a high volume environment
