  • About the Role

Crunchyroll is looking for a Manager, Marketing - Italy. This is a high-visibility role on the Country Leadership team reporting directly to the Director of Regional Marketing - EMEA. This role will drive business growth for the Crunchyroll brand in Italy, establish long-term country strategies, and oversee title launches and brand initiatives.

This strategic role requires strong leadership skills, centered in business development, marketing strategy, and creative campaign oversight. It is responsible for the overall marketing success in the region and its markets. The role involves identifying long-term success paths for the region and connecting the local market with global strategic functions, following the "globally aligned, regionally relevant" principle.

The Marketing Manager takes ownership of full funnel marketing activities and subscriber growth in Italy.

  • About You
  • Degree in marketing communications or equivalent
  • 6+ years of experience in marketing management
  • On the forefront of pop culture and up to speed on the latest trends.
  • Brand agency, tech, or entertainment background preferred
  • Experience managing diverse teams
  • Worked in a global organization or has international experience
  • Self-starter, flexible, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in English (spoken and written)
  • Deep understanding of the Italian market

A day in the life of our Marketing Manager includes developing and implementing territory-specific strategies for traffic, brand engagement, social media, and fan events. This involves setting long-term objectives, prioritizing regional titles and initiatives, and collaborating with the EMEA marketing team.

The role also involves managing local marketing teams to create culturally relevant campaigns that drive subscriber growth and box office revenue, managing regional budgets, and ensuring all marketing strategies align with overall EMEA and global directions. The Manager oversees creative workflows, coordinates full-funnel marketing activities for theatrical and SVOD releases, manages budgets, and partners with leadership to ensure subscriber and revenue targets are met for emerging territories.
