We are now looking for a Product & Design Engineer to join our team working for a better future. The position is permanent, with the preferred location in Porriño, Spain.

What You Will Be Doing

In the seals department, your role will involve assisting in the design of new sealing solutions in collaboration with the team, modelling required modifications for different installations, and supporting other departments such as Sales, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, or Costs with product-related queries. You will also provide support to customers regarding design and product issues.

Daily tasks include creating or modifying drawings for quotations and manufacturing. While the work requires a certain level of independence, you will have support from experienced team members.

We expect you to have some autonomy and experience with 2D and 3D CAD tools.

Responsibilities

• Creation/modification of product drawings
• Creation/modification of drawings for quotation
• Creation/modification of manufacturing drawings
• Creation/modification of simple designs
• Performing simple working calculations
• Supporting various departments with product and process knowledge

Qualifications

• Experience with design tools such as Autodesk AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor, Vault PLM, Solid Edge, or other CAD tools
• Fluent in English and Spanish
• Knowledge of machining processes
• Understanding of the design characteristics and operational conditions of face seals

Some travel (approximately 10%) to meet with customers worldwide is expected.
