CACTUS provides language editing services to help researchers in their quest for publication.

We’re currently looking for Copyeditors on a work-from-home basis. This would be a contractual agreement, renewable upon mutual consent. Work will be available regularly to maintain a predictable schedule.

Job responsibilities

1. Copy-edit manuscripts to ensure the final text is in standard scientific English.
2. Ensure manuscripts conform to journal style requirements.
3. Crosscheck document metadata such as references using software tools.

Qualifications and prerequisites

• A master’s or Ph.D. degree in Medicine or Life Sciences.
• Experience in copyediting for various journals.
• Familiarity with the AMA style guide.
• Proficiency in MS Word, especially Track Changes and styling options.
