Your responsibilities

  • Maintain and upgrade validation test benches and hardware.
  • Design and extend test hardware platforms and environments.
  • Create test steps for various boards.
  • Design test-bench hardware components.
  • Integrate results into a database.
  • Document and support the platform and testing procedures.

Your profile

Skills

  • Proficiency in LabVIEW, LabVIEW RT, and FPGA.
  • Knowledge of Python; pytest knowledge is a bonus.
  • Comfortable with Linux and command-line tools.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication skills to understand client requirements.
  • Ability to document progress and challenges.
  • Teamwork and autonomy as needed.
  • Fluent in English or French, with willingness to learn the other language.

Eligibility criteria:

  • Must be a national of a CERN Member or Associate Member State.
  • Maximum of two years professional experience since graduation in Software Engineering or related field, with a Bachelor's or Master's degree.
  • Never held a CERN fellow or graduate contract before.
  • University degree required; PhD holders are not eligible.

Additional Information
