Job Description

As the SAP S4 Order to Cash Solution Architect, you will be responsible for SAP solution design, implementation, and maintenance within our Order to Cash workstream. You will work closely with Business Analysts, External Consultants, Developers, Security & Data Privacy teams, and Data specialists to ensure SAP S/4 design, delivery, and maintenance adhere to standards while maximizing automation and specialization in our global value chain.

More specifically, in this role, you will:

Be accountable for the solution architecture across the Order to Cash processes (SAP S/4 SD, LE), from Master Data & transactions to Month End closing.
Collaborate with Product/Process Owners and Lead Solution Architects to evaluate and align design changes.
Serve as a front-line contact for business process owners and super users, ensuring a seamless platform experience, including:

Enhancements within SAP and related software development (DevSecOps)
Managing changes and releases according to configuration guidelines
Supporting analysis and resolution of issues in production
Supporting automation testing and learning non-SAP applications relevant to Finance
Designing and maintaining operational reporting and analytics

Adhere to operational governance and SLAs, managing dependencies, testing, and business impact.

Work with cross-functional Scrum teams, with hands-on configuration experience in SAP S/4 Hana or ECC.

Explain end-to-end processes and proactively communicate project status and risks.

Manage risks and challenges during transformational transitions, ensuring business continuity.

You will report to the SAP Platform Area Manager and work closely with the Order and Finance Program management team.

Qualifications

You are passionate about creating value through SAP architecture and enjoy developing IKEA’s business by building relationships. You are a strong team player with deep techno-functional expertise, capable of inspiring teams and managing complex projects. You have at least 2-3 end-to-end SAP implementation projects experience and have worked in supply chain or retail industries. Excellent communication skills and the ability to present complex technical topics clearly are essential.
