Full Stack IAM Engineer (IT-PW-IAM-2025-69-GRAE)

  • Your responsibilities

    Join CERN's Identity and Account Management (IAM) team as a Full Stack Engineer to contribute to secure, elegant, and user-friendly authentication services at one of the world's leading research institutions. You will work within a supportive 9-person team on systems that enable CERN users to work securely and efficiently, across the entire stack: Java, Python, and ReactJS, deployed on OpenShift and Kubernetes.

    Required skills:

    • Experience with ReactJS
    • Proficiency in Java and Python
    • Knowledge of containerization
    • Understanding of secure coding practices

    Good to have:

    • Experience with Kubernetes or OpenShift
    • Knowledge of Keycloak, SAML, OIDC
    • English proficiency; willingness to learn basic French
    • Maximum of two years of professional experience since graduation by the application deadline
    • Educational qualification: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field
    • No prior CERN fellow or graduate contracts
    • Applicants without a university degree or with a PhD are not eligible

    Contract duration: 24 months, with possible extension up to 36 months.

    Working hours: 40 hours per week
