Marketing & Operations Director

We are looking for a Marketing & Operations Director in any of our European Sites. In this role, you will:

  1. Oversee the strategic development and execution of marketing campaigns while ensuring efficient operational processes to drive business growth and improve customer satisfaction.
  2. Align marketing goals with organizational objectives and streamline operational workflows for optimal performance.
  3. Manage the GEM market and six clusters included in this scope.

In this role, a typical day will include:

  • Responsible for the adaptation and implementation of overall strategies in Export Markets, interfacing with IMG, partnership managers, product managers, L&C, GEMCo, pricing, and training teams to ensure smooth market operations and partnerships.
  • Deliver market share and revenue goals, ensuring appropriate investment in key strategies.
  • Oversee sales practices, develop strategies and objectives, and provide insights to boost priorities based on customer and competitive analysis.
  • Coach partnership managers to guide partner investments toward key priorities and strategic products.
  • Focus on growth percentages generated from three main priorities.
  • Manage commercial team training for internal staff and partners to ensure strategic execution.
  • Lead HCP education initiatives to maintain high engagement and commitment to the strategic portfolio.
  • Achieve business results through a mix of technical and business skills, fostering multi-function collaboration.

What you’ll bring to Alcon:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 10-15 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in a medical device company is essential; ophthalmology experience is a plus.
  • Commercial sales experience, marketing knowledge, and operational mindset.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are beneficial.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence across cross-functional teams.
