To fulfill a project at our client in the region of Basel in the life science industry we are looking for a

• Main tasks:
  
  1. Migrate server from datacenter A to AWS or Azure cloud environment.
  2. Installation of new infrastructure in the data center.
  3. Webserver Installation/Migration
• Migration Execution:
  1. Execute the migration, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
  2. Implement necessary changes and configurations to ensure the servers function correctly in the new environment
• Testing and Validation:
  1. Conduct thorough testing to ensure the migrated applications are functioning as expected.
  2. Identify and resolve any issues or discrepancies that arise during testing.
• Documentation and Training:
  1. Document the entire migration process, including any changes made to the applications or infrastructure.
  2. Provide training and support to the relevant teams to ensure they are familiar with the new environment and any changes made.
• Ongoing Support and Optimization:
  1. Provide ongoing support and maintenance for the migrated applications.
  2. Monitor the performance of the applications and make necessary optimizations to ensure they continue to meet business requirements.

• Technical Expertise
  * Infrastructure Management: HPE Server and Storage, Dell Server and Storage, Cisco Network
  * Virtualization: Strong knowledge of VMware ESXi 7.x
  * Backup: Veeam
  * Cloud: AWS/Azure, OnPrem to Cloud Conversion
  * Networking & Security: Understanding of secure network configurations
  * Operating Systems: Windows Server and Linux (variation of distributions)
  * Automation & Scripting: PowerShell, Bash, or other scripting languages for automating administrative tasks
  * English (must) and German/French (added value)
  
  
• Soft Skills & Other Requirements
  * Experience with 21 CFR Part 11 regulated systems (eg. GxP)
  * Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
  * Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
  * Effective communication and documentation skills
