Production Engineering Manager

Generell Information

As a Production Engineering Specialist in Product and Process Engineering, you will drive improvements in production.

They report to the Head of Production Engineering. Her focus is on the optimization of equipment, assembly methods, and processes of the production organization to minimize labor time in accordance with business requirements and strategies related to quality, efficiency, cost, and safety.

You will have the opportunity to play an active role in the transformation of the site and demonstrate your change management skills.

Your responsibilities

• Planning, implementation, and further development of manufacturing workflows, production processes, and resources for the optimal production and testing of assemblies and devices.
• Conception, procurement, and implementation of equipment, including coordination with internal and external partners.
• Product responsibility for a product line related to all tasks in production engineering across locations.
• Collaboration in the industrialization of products from the idea stage to series production.

Your background

• Completed studies in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, automation technology, or equivalent qualification, e.g., through practical experience.
• Several years of professional experience in industrial production, ideally in the responsibilities mentioned above.
• Vocational training or further education in the relevant field is desirable.
• Ability to think conceptually and 'think out of the box.'
• Affinity for IT and data processing processes.
• Passion for optimization and change, with a strong can-do mentality.
• Very good German and good English skills in the subject area.
