Qualifications

• Knowledge about A/C & D/C motor and generator rewinding and repair.
• Experience coordinating shop activities and ensuring repair stages meet standards and client requirements.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and prioritize works to be performed by respective sections.
• Monitor and implement documentation for each respective process in every section.
• Analyze and investigate quality control problems and customer complaints.
• Study and recommend solutions for quality improvements.
• Develop and maintain documentation for every job.
• Assist technicians analyzing defects and inspection.
• Review and ensure all data on sheets are correct and legible.
• Conduct testing and analysis of materials and components.
• Review parts needed for each job order and raise purchase requests.
• Inspect purchased materials for quality and suitability.
• Confer with the workshop manager for discrepancies found during repairs.
• Ensure finished works meet quality criteria and paperwork is complete.
• Assist and supervise employees in understanding safety procedures.
• Perform other skilled or non-skilled duties as directed.
• Observe all safety procedures and use proper protective gear.

Job Summary: Knowledge about A/C & D/C motor and generator rewinding and repair. Coordinate and prioritize all the works performed in the shop department and ensure that every repair stage meets the standards and satisfy client’s requirement.

Responsibilities

• To schedule and prioritize all works to be performed by the respective sections.
• To monitor, initiate and implement the use of documentation for each respective process in every section.
• To analyze and investigate quality control problems and customer complaints.
• To study and recommend solutions for quality improvements to achieve the quality objectives.
• To develop, improve and maintain the documentation of every job.
• To assist the technicians in analyzing defects and inspection of each component prior to finalizing the recommended scope of work.
• To assist technicians in decisions pertaining to dismantling, assembling and testing of electromechanical equipment.
• To review and ensure that all pertinent data and sketches written on the data sheets are correct, legible and understandable with the other personnel.
• To conduct testing, inspection and analysis of raw materials, components and repaired equipment to ensure its quality, performance and correctness.
• To review and make a summary list of needed parts for each job order and raise purchase requests to stores.
• To review, inspect and check the purchased materials or components for correctness, quality and suitability.
• To confer with the workshop manager for any discrepancy or non-conforming products found during the repair or testing process.
• To ensure that all finished works meet our standard quality criteria, client’s requirements and all paper works are complete.
• To comply with all company memos and, if required, distribute appropriately to shop personnel.
• To assist / supervise employees in understanding and observing company rules and safety procedures.
• To perform other skilled or non-skilled duties as directed by the workshop manager.
• To observe all safety procedures and use proper protective gear.

Remuneration and Benefits

Remuneration package: QAR 4000 – 5000 Basic Salary
