Job summary

Swan Global is seeking experienced Works Inspectors – Landscape in Qatar. The role focuses on inspecting landscape construction activities to ensure adherence to approved drawings, project specs, and quality standards.

Strong background in hardscape and softscape supervision is required, with emphasis on safety and conformity to procedures. Ideal candidates hold a technical diploma in landscape or related field, with at least 10 years total experience and 5+ years in landscape construction

Responsibilities

• Inspect landscape construction activities for compliance with drawings and specs
• Supervise hardscape and softscape works (paving, kerbs, planting, irrigation, external works)
• Review drawings, specs, method statements and material submissions before works
• Conduct regular site inspections and report non-compliance or defects
• Verify materials meet project submissions and requirements

Job description

We are seeking experienced Works Inspectors – Landscape to join in Qatar. The successful candidates will be responsible for inspecting and monitoring landscape construction activities to ensure that all works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, project specifications, quality standards, and approved construction procedures.

Educational Qualification

• Technical Diploma in Landscape, Horticulture, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Relevant technical qualifications in landscape construction will be preferred.

Experience

• Minimum 10 years of total professional experience.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant/similar experience in landscape construction inspection and supervision.
• Experience in large-scale landscaping, building, infrastructure, or development projects is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect and monitor all landscape construction activities to ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
• Supervise and inspect hardscape and softscape works, including paving, kerbs, planting, irrigation, external works, and landscape features.
• Review approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and material submissions before commencement of works.
• Conduct regular site inspections and report any non-compliance or defective workmanship.
• Verify that materials delivered to site comply with approved material submissions and project requirements.
