Job summary

PPOAR is seeking a Welder in Doha, Qatar to join the team. The candidate will weld metals per production specs, ensuring safety and quality standards are met. Experience with TIG/MIG and both manual and machine welding is preferred, with strong attention to detail.

The role requires reading blueprints, basic computer literacy, a valid welding certification, and the ability to lift heavy items. Visa sponsorship is considered for qualified applicants.

Welder in Doha, Qatar

We are looking for a Welder to join our team in Doha. The successful candidate will be responsible for welding various types of metals and materials in accordance with the production specifications, while adhering to safety regulations and quality standards.

• Experience with manual and machine welding
• Good knowledge of TIG and MIG welding techniques
• Excellent problem solving skills
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to complete tasks within tight deadlines

To be considered for this position, applicants must have a valid certification or qualification in welding from a recognised institution or equivalent experience; hold a valid driving license; have good communication skills; be able to read blueprints; understand basic computer use; be able to lift heavy items when necessary; and possess solid mathematical skills.

• Experience working with stainless steel or aluminium is advantageous but not essential
• Knowledge of basic first aid will also prove beneficial for the successful candidate
