Welder

A well-established construction company in Al-Khor is seeking a skilled Welder to join our team. As a Welder, you will be responsible for welding and fabricating metal components according to specifications and blueprints. This job is suitable for Malayalees who have experience in welding and are fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of welding work
• Measure and mark cutting lines on metal using templates, measuring tools, and marking devices
• Set up and operate welding equipment to weld metal parts together
• Use various techniques to shape, cut, bend, and weld metal pieces into desired shapes
• Inspect welded joints for accuracy and quality standards
• Repair damaged or worn parts by welding or brazing
• Keep work area clean and safe at all times

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Welder or similar role
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
• Proficient in various welding techniques including MIG, TIG, arc, and oxy-fuel welding
• Familiarity with hand tools such as grinders, saws, drills, etc.
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy materials
• Attention to detail and ability to follow safety precautions at all times
• Strong communication skills in English
