Job summary

FamilyFirst Qatar is seeking a Welder for our Al-Khor team to create strong metal joints using MIG, TIG, or stick welding. You will read blueprints, select appropriate equipment, and ensure weld quality while maintaining safety procedures.

This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret technical drawings. Accommodation is provided. The position is based in Al-Khor, Qatar with a competitive monthly pay.

Qualifications

Welder

We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team in Al-Khor. As a Welder, you will be responsible for creating strong, durable metal joints by welding together various pieces of metal. This is a physically demanding job that requires attention to detail and precision.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
• Determine the appropriate welding technique and equipment for each job
• Operate welding equipment safely and correctly
• Clean and prepare metal surfaces for welding
• Weld metal components according to specifications
• Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
• Troubleshoot issues with welding equipment
• Maintain a clean and organized work area

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Welder or similar role
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
• Proficiency in various welding techniques (MIG, TIG, stick)
• Familiarity with different types of metals and their properties
• Physical stamina to lift heavy materials and stand for long periods of time
• Attention to detail and strong hand-eye coordination

Salary: 1300$ per month (negotiable based on experience)

Location: Al-Khor, Qatar

Nationality: Preference for Indian candidates
