You should also observe all traffic laws and regulations when operating a truck. In addition, you must inspect the vehicle before each trip to ensure it is properly maintained and in good working condition. You must also report any mechanical or safety issues with the truck to your supervisor. Furthermore, you will be expected to maintain accurate logs of trips and cargo load details as well as other paperwork as required by law.
