Overview
Soft Service Supervisor. Desirable qualifications include an HNC/ Diploma/ Level holder in any technique and/or accreditation in Soft Services disciplines such as Cleaning/Housekeeping. BICS Accredited and BICS Fitness Instructor accreditation held preferable.
Responsibilities
- Oversee cleansing, pest control and waste monitoring services as well as cleaning of Building Operations (e.g., facade and roofing cleaning) in environments such as open spaces.
- Provide cleansing and waste monitoring services during large events, with experience in sporting venues highly preferable.
- Supervise cleansing, insect and waste monitoring specialists’ services including metropolitan waste collection services.
- Auditing of soft solution providers is essential.
- Implement sustainable methods across the soft solutions portfolio.
- Maintain knowledge of the latest innovations in cleansing tools and cleaning auditing.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interact with service providers and management at all levels.
- Strong leadership abilities and subcontract management.
- Computer literacy with experience of operating soft solutions with a CAFM system (e.g., MS Office, CAFM).
- Good understanding of quality requirements such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001.
- Interpersonal, initiative, logical thinking, decision-making and management capabilities.
Qualifications
- HNC, Diploma/ Level holder (Desirable) in any technique and/or accreditation in Soft Services disciplines such as Cleaning/Housekeeping.
- BICS Accredited and BICS Fitness Instructor accreditation preferred.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience overseeing cleansing, pest control and waste monitoring, and cleaning of Building Operations (e.g., façade and roofing cleaning).
- Experience delivering cleansing and waste monitoring services for large events; sporting venues highly preferable.
- Experience supervising cleansing, insect and waste monitoring specialists, including metropolitan waste collection services.
- Specific experience auditing soft solution providers is essential.
- Experience with sustainable methods across the soft solutions portfolio.
- Knowledge of the latest innovations in cleaning tools and cleaning auditing.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; able to interact with stakeholders at all levels, including service providers’ administration.
- Leadership abilities and subcontract management.
- Experience: Soft Service Manager – 6 years (preferred).
Job Type: Permanent. Salary: QAR 6,200.00 – QAR 7,950.00 per month.
