Job summary

Mekdam Technical Services invites applications for a senior role in Qatar. The candidate should bring eight years of business experience, including four in Oil & Gas, with one year in supervision or oversight of subcontractors and vendors.

Strong knowledge of planning, cost control, risk management, and SAP-based ERP/PM systems is required. Applicants with experience on major EPC Lump Sum contracts and owner-perspective project management will be preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or related fields.
• Eight years' experience in business-related functions, including four years in Oil & Gas.
• At least 1 year in supervisory or oversight of contractor personnel.
• Experience with Oil & Gas companies, EPC contractors, sub-contractors, vendors or service companies.
• Experience on major projects from an Owner's perspective, managing EPC Lump Sum Contracts.
• Experience with ERP and project management systems such as SAP or another O&G ERP.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Commercial, Marketing, Sciences, Engineering, Project Management, Supply Chain Management, Law, Communication, Technologies, Mathematics, and Statistics.

Knowledge and/or Experience

Eight (8) years' experience in business related function or discipline, including four (4) years in the Oil & Gas Industry, and including 1 year experience in a supervisory or acting role, or oversight of contractor/subcontractors/service/vendor personnel.

Experience with Oil & Gas Companies, EPC contractors, sub-contractors, vendors or service companies involved in the Oil and Gas Industry.

Knowledge in project business related functions/discipline such as planning, scheduling, cost control, estimating, claim management, risk management, change management, procurement, pre-and post-award contract management, actionable and informative reporting, support services, lessons learned etc.

Previous experience on major projects, from an Owner's perspective, managing EPC Lump Sum Contracts, working with multi – lingual contracts teams with large local subcontractors and mentoring Developees is required.

Experience is required in working with ERP systems and Project Management systems (such as SAP or another O&G ERP).
