Job summary

Avanta Works is seeking a skilled Temporary Truck Driver in Doha, Qatar. The role involves safely operating a truck to transport goods across short distances and performing pre-trip inspections. Flexible hours are available for this temporary position.

Applicants must hold a heavy-vehicle license, have at least 2 years of experience, and be fluent in English. Physical fitness and knowledge of Qatar traffic laws are essential. Immediate start preferred.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license for heavy vehicles.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience as a truck driver.
• Fluent in English (additional languages are a plus).
• Must be physically fit and able to lift heavy loads.
• Knowledge of traffic laws and regulations in Qatar.
• Familiarity with the local roads and routes in Doha is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate the truck to transport goods and materials from one location to another within Doha.
• Perform pre-trip inspections of the vehicle before each trip.
• Adhere to traffic laws and regulations at all times while driving.
• Load and unload materials from the truck as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel usage, etc.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, coworkers, and clients as needed.
