A mechanical solutions provider in Qatar is seeking a Technical Sales Engineer - Coordinator to manage product proposals and client negotiations. Overview

Technical Sales Engineer - Coordinator (Rotating equipment).

Responsibilities
  • Should possess the required knowledge & awareness of centrifugal pumps and/or other mechanical rotating eqpt and static equipment.
  • Understanding customer requirements and aligning product offerings with them. Reviewing quotes from the principals, drawings, data sheets, specifications, bid clarifications, TBE, etc. to ensure that the proposal meets customers' requirements.
  • Negotiating directly with principals to get the best possible pricing and payment options.
  • Preparing proposals for customers that detail pricing, delivery schedules, and other relevant information about products or services.
  • Should be able to read & interpret GA drgs,CS drgs, Part Lists, and have exposure to Aftermarket business.
  • Follow up quotations in a timely manner to secure orders.
  • Expedite, Follow-up, Track orders from placement through delivery.
  • Inspect goods upon receipt to ensure that the standards of quality are met and the correct quantity has been received.
  • Contact suppliers/customers to resolve issues related to price, quality, delivery or invoice issues.
  • Ensure timely invoicing of the orders as per the milestone/payment terms.
  • Should have knowledge of INCO terms,Shipping documents of Air freight/Sea freight
  • Should possess commercial knowledge of payment terms, bank guarantee, LC etc.
  • Prepare and submit regular reports on aftersales performance.
  • Should possess working knowledge of MS Excel, SAP,ARIBA and ERP systems
  • Should be a self-starter, resourceful, initiative taker to take the lead in job function.
