Job summary

Stantec in Doha, Qatar seeks a senior Civil/Environmental Engineer with deep experience in sewerage networks to lead master planning, hydraulic modelling, and design across city-scale projects.

You will coordinate stakeholders, oversee concept to detailed design, and drive delivery for large communities, leveraging 15+ years of practical site and consulting experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering (Master's degree preferred).
• Chartered or Professional Engineer (e.g., CEng, PE, or equivalent); an international institution is preferred.
• Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience, including at least 8 years leading planning and strategy for foul sewerage networks and treatment works.
• Experience in Master planning, catchment strategy development, and stakeholder coordination.

• Demonstrate experience in leading hydraulic modelling or leading hydraulic modelling of sewerage networks

• Demonstrate experience in design and leading the design of sewerage networks, including gravity and pressurised schemes, related pump stations, preferably in large communities or city-wide developments

• For the above, if this can be demonstrated in at least 4 or 5 projects, that would be beneficial

• Experience in different delivery stages of a sewerage network from master planning to concept design, preliminary design, and detailed design.
