Job summary

Job description

The Senior IT Project Manager will be responsible for leading the end-to-end delivery of complex technology projects within the financial services sector, preferably banking. The role requires strong project governance, stakeholder management, vendor coordination, regulatory awareness, and proven experience delivering IT initiatives across international or multi-country environments.

Mandatory Requirements

PMP certification is mandatory.

• Minimum 7 years of actual hands-on project management experience, with responsibility for managing scope, schedule, cost, risks, resources, stakeholders, vendors, and delivery outcomes.
  
• Proven experience delivering IT projects within the financial services sector, preferably banking.
  
• Experience managing medium to large-scale IT projects in banking or financial services environments.
  
• Demonstrated experience managing projects in international, regional, or multi country environments.
  
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, including Waterfall, Agile, and hybrid delivery approaches.
  
• Experience managing internal teams, external vendors, consultants, and third party service providers.
  
• Experience working with senior management, business sponsors, technology teams, and external vendors in a structured governance environment.
  

Education And Professional Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, or a related discipline.
  
• PMP certification is required.
  
• Additional certifications such as PRINCE2, Agile, Scrum, SAFe, ITIL, COBIT, or PMI ACP are preferred.
