Job summary

Gulf Drilling International in Qatar seeks a seasoned procurement professional to lead end-to-end sourcing across an allocated portfolio of materials, equipment or services. You will manage the PR-to-PO lifecycle in Oracle ERP, run RFQs, support evaluations, and secure favorable terms through data-driven negotiation.

You will own category strategies, engage stakeholders across legal, finance, and operations, monitor spend, drive standardization, and deliver auditable procurement records.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Supply Chain Management or related fields.
• CIPS certification (preferred) or working towards certification.
• Technical proficiency in procurement and sourcing, bidding & tendering, data analytics, market research & intelligence, supplier relationship management, negotiation skills, stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Execute end-to-end procurement activities across an allocated portfolio of materials, equipment or services.
• Manage the full PR-to-PO lifecycle, ERP entries and documentation; lead RFQ processes and supplier evaluations.
• Secure optimal commercial terms through data-driven negotiation and strategic sourcing; maintain audit-ready records in Oracle ERP.
• Own procurement strategy for assigned business unit and contribute to category plans; monitor market trends and risk.
• Coordinate with legal, finance, operations and contract management teams to ensure alignment and compliance.
