Job summary

Foreground is seeking a Procurement Manager in Doha, Qatar, to oversee sourcing and procurement for major infrastructure projects. You will lead end-to-end procurement, negotiate terms, and manage vendor development to ensure on-time delivery and cost efficiency.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, 10+ years in construction procurement, and strong negotiation and contract management skills. Fluency in English is required, with Arabic preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or Engineering (MBA preferred).
• 10+ years of procurement experience in the construction sector.
• Strong negotiation, contract management, and vendor development skills.
• Knowledge of local and international procurement standards.
• Fluency in English required, Arabic preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the procurement function, managing end-to-end sourcing, vendor prequalification, and contract execution.
• Develop procurement strategies that ensure material availability, cost competitiveness, and quality compliance.
• Negotiate terms with suppliers and subcontractors to optimize value and reduce risk exposure.
• Monitor supply chain performance, resolving bottlenecks to ensure timely delivery.
• Establish and maintain supplier performance evaluation and reporting systems.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and finance teams on procurement forecasts.
