Job summary

Nord Anglia Education’s Etqan Global Academy in Doha is seeking a Procurement Manager to lead all school procurement activities, ensuring compliant, value-driven sourcing that supports excellent learning environments.

The role requires establishing procurement strategy, planning with Operations Manager, SLT and Finance Manager, and driving value through competitive sourcing, negotiation, and governance-aligned tendering processes. Experience in education or service environments is desirable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or related discipline.
• CIPS or equivalent qualification preferred.
• Minimum 5+ years' experience in procurement, supply chain, or commercial roles.
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
• Strong financial acumen and analytical capability.
• Experience working within governance and compliance frameworks.
• Understanding of Qatar procurement regulations (preferred).
• Experience within education, hospitality, or service-based environments (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of the school’s procurement strategy aligned with school and regional objectives.
• Develop annual procurement plans in collaboration with the Operations Manager, SLT and Finance Manager.
• Drive value-for-money initiatives through competitive sourcing, benchmarking, and strategic negotiation.
• Lead tendering processes in line with governance standards.
• Negotiate and manage commercial contracts and supplier agreements.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, internal financial controls, and Nord Anglia policies.
• Maintain accurate procurement documentation to support audit and governance requirements.
• Build strong supplier relationships and monitor performance to minimise operational risk.
