Job summary

Media City Qatar is seeking a Business Planning Officer Specialist to support the Strategy and Business Planning Manager. You will develop, oversee, and refine MCQ's annual business planning process, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and providing data-driven insights for decision-making at the management level.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Statistics, or a similar discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of solid experience in business planning, strategy development, or project management within a corporate setting.
• Proficiency in Power BI and collaboration with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to lead strategic initiatives and business planning efforts.

Responsibilities

• Oversee MCQ's annual business planning process and align plans with strategic goals.
• Manage daily operations of facilities and coordinate with operators or internal team to ensure quality service delivery.
• Cascade divisional strategy into sectional plans for vertical and horizontal alignment.
• Lead people management within the assigned section, setting objectives and developing staff.
• Prepare and monitor sectional budget, aligning activities with approved guidelines.
• Implement policies, procedures, and controls across the assigned activities to ensure compliance and cost-effectiveness.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and sustainability of systems and processes.
• Prepare timely and accurate sectional reports meeting MCQ requirements and quality standards.
