Job summary

Avanta Works in Doha, Qatar seeks an experienced Indian Merchandiser for a contract role with immediate availability. You will manage purchasing and selling activities to meet customer demand and increase profits, while coordinating with suppliers and internal teams.

Key duties include negotiating prices, forecasting demand, monitoring inventory, creating product displays, supporting marketing promotions, and traveling to source products and attend trade shows in Qatar.

Qualifications

• Must be an Indian national.
• Minimum of 2 years experience as a Merchandiser in a similar role.
• Strong negotiation skills and ability to build relationships with suppliers.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Flexibility to travel frequently within Qatar.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and negotiate prices.
• Plan and forecast product demand based on market trends and sales data.
• Monitor inventory levels and make recommendations for restocking.
• Create attractive product displays to attract customers.
• Collaborate with marketing team to develop promotional strategies.
• Travel to various locations to source new products and attend trade shows.
