Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years as a storekeeper, preferably in offshore/oil & gas.
• Familiarity with drilling rig equipment, including tubulars and BOP parts.

Responsibilities

• Manage inventory and ensure proper storage and issuance of supplies on an offshore rig.
• Maintain accurate stock levels using inventory management systems.
• Distribute equipment and supplies to rig personnel as per requests.
• Follow Qatar Energy and contractor-specific HSE policies.
• Conduct monthly stock audits and report discrepancies.

Key Responsibilities

Inventory & Warehouse Management

• Receive, inspect, andrecord all incoming materials (drilling tools, spare parts, chemicals, PPE,etc.).
• Maintainaccuratestock levelsusing inventory management systems(e.g., SAP, Oracle, or manual logs).
• Organize storage areasforeasy access, safety, and compliance(e.g., hazardousmaterials segregation).

Issuance & Documentation

• Distribute equipmentand supplies to rig personnel as per requests.
• Ensureproperdocumentation(GRN, MRN, stock reports) for audits and compliance.
• Trackcriticalspares(BOP parts, drilling tools) to prevent operational delays.

Compliance & Safety

• FollowQatarEnergy(QP) and contractor-specificHSE policies.
• Ensureproperlabeling, handling, and storageof hazardous materials (H2S,chemicals).
• Conductmonthlystock auditsand report discrepancies.

Coordination & Reporting

• Liaisewithlogisticscoordinators (onshore)for timely resupply.
• Assistinemergencyrequisitions(urgent spare parts, medical supplies).

Requirements

Experience

• Minimum2+yearsas a storekeeper (offshore/oil & gas preferred).
