Staff Nurse Urgent!

Overview

Provides knowledgeable, safe, holistic and culturally qualified, person-centred nursing care to clients, families, community as well as society, in cooperation with the multidisciplinary team irrespective of healthcare settings. Delivers nursing care and techniques, in line with the Centre Nurse Practitioner Range of Practice, with consideration of the socio-cultural needs of clients, households, communities and culture. Follows infection-control procedures and collaborates with services from other healthcare disciplines. Reviews the quality and relevance of care; accepts accountability for own activities and decisions and the related outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Supply direct care to designated individuals.
  • Take nursing history, summarise data, and state nursing diagnoses and patient treatment needs.
  • Provide direct patient care and assess patient needs; collaborate with other healthcare disciplines to coordinate services.
  • Assess and improve the quality and relevance of care; ensure implementation, coordination and ongoing review of the patient care plan.
  • Ensure adherence to infection-control procedures and monitor nursing supplies inventory.
  • Monitor and coordinate maintenance of equipment as required.
  • Deliver nursing treatments and techniques and apply the Nurse Practitioner Range of Practice as a professional framework, considering socio-cultural needs of clients, families, communities and culture.
  • Educate patients, families and households; implement recommended treatments (e.g., diagnostic tests, medicines) and independent nursing interventions.
Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor\'s degree (Needed).
  • Experience: Nurse practitioner: 3 years (Required).
  • License/Certification: QCHP Medical Permit (Required).
