We are seeking a Senior Systems Engineer (Corporate Solutions) to work in Qatar with a major Oil & Gas company.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related Engineering/Business field.
  • Training and preferably certification in PMP.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the entire project life cycle, ensuring smooth execution and timely delivery.
  • Possess a deep understanding of procurement processes to manage vendors and facilitate resource acquisition.
  • Conduct technical and commercial evaluations of bids for informed decision-making.
  • Review, analyze, and evaluate user requirements; prepare feasibility and technical requirement documents.
  • Identify user requirements, create scope of work, draft functional requirements, and design, implement, and deploy IT business solutions.
  • Identify and manage project risks, developing mitigation strategies as needed.
  • Maintain effective communication with stakeholders regarding project progress and changes.
  • Have strong technical knowledge of IT concepts and technologies.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software.
  • Implement diverse corporate solutions to meet business needs.
  • Apply Agile methodologies to enhance project flexibility and responsiveness.
  • Lead and manage cross-functional teams of technical and non-technical staff.

Experience

  • Minimum 9 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong knowledge of software procurement, requirements analysis, tendering, vendor negotiations, SDLC, and information security.
  • Excellent people management, problem-solving, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
  • Effective communication and leadership abilities.
