Job summary

A leading energy company in Qatar is seeking a highly skilled Senior Marketer for their Long Term LNG Sales team. The role involves negotiating complex LNG Sales and Purchase Agreements, driving business development initiatives, and optimizing cargo diversions. The ideal candidate should have at least 8 years of experience in LNG marketing and business development, with a strong understanding of various LNG contract types. A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 8 years in LNG marketing and business development within the hydrocarbon industry.
  • Strong knowledge of LNG contract types including HoAs, Term Sheets, SPAs (FOB & Ex-Ship), and Confidentiality Agreements.

Responsibilities

  • Steward long-term SPAs ensuring compliance and strong customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Negotiations: Drive complex LNG contract negotiations with international customers, ensuring optimal outcomes alignment with QatarEnergy’s strategic goals.
  • Contract Management: Steward long-term SPAs, ensuring compliance, value maximization, and strong customer relationships.
  • Market Intelligence: Analyze global LNG market trends and regulatory developments to inform strategy and decision-making.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with internal teams (Legal, Finance, C&S) to develop and implement new SPAs and resolve commercial disputes.
