Job summary

QatarEnergy in Doha seeks a budgeting and cost-control professional to prepare and manage departmental budgets, monitor spending, and deliver financial reporting across the year.

The role requires 4+ years in budgeting/costing in the oil and gas sector, strong SAP knowledge, and proficiency with MS Word/Excel and BI analytics. You will partner with commercial teams and report to the Finance Manager, contributing to cost efficiency and strategic planning.

Qualifications

• 4 years in budgeting, costing, planning in oil and gas, with at least 3 years in a commercial cost/planning role.
• SAP knowledge is preferred.
• Proficient PC user with MS Word, MS Excel and BI analytics.

Required Experience And Skills

4 years in an advanced preferably in budgeting, costing, planning related activities in the oil and gas industry, including at least 3 years in a commercial position related to cost & planning.

SAP knowledge is preferred.

Skilled in the use of PC with hands on knowledge of various software like MS Word, MS Excel & BI analytics.

Educational Qualifications

Bachelor of Business or Finance or Accounting.

CIMA, CPA or equivalent certification or Advanced Professional Accounting, Cost Engineering and Systems Analysis are recommended.
