Black & Grey HR is recruiting for an established technology solutions and services provider in Doha, Qatar. Our client is seeking an experienced Sports Business Systems Analyst (Arabic Speaker) who will play a key role in analyzing, implementing, and supporting sports and venue‑related business systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in‑depth analysis of sports business systems to identify performance gaps and enhancement opportunities, and assess system workflows, data structures, and user interactions to recommend improvements.
- Work closely with internal business units and external vendors to gather requirements, align system capabilities with operational needs, and facilitate workshops, requirement sessions, and system demonstrations.
- Oversee the integration of third‑party applications with internal platforms, ensuring secure and reliable data exchange, and coordinate technical alignment between venue systems, event organizers, and data providers.
- Provide system‑level support including issue troubleshooting, functional enhancements, testing, and user enablement, and support mobile and venue applications used during large‑scale events and daily operations.
- Support data‑driven performance and analytical applications used for sports science and athlete insights, and collaborate with data teams to enhance reporting, analytics, and decision‑support tools.
- Coordinate system‑related projects, ensuring timelines, documentation, and deliverables are achieved, and support acceptance testing, release planning, and post‑deployment stabilization.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in business systems analysis, preferably in sports, venues, or event management.
- Bilingual proficiency with Arabic (Mandatory).
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Certifications (Preferred)
- Business Analysis certifications (e.g., CBAP).
- Project Management certifications (e.g., PMP).
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong proficiency in business analysis methodologies, requirement engineering, and process modelling (UML/BPMN).
- Experience with SDLC, functional design, process mapping, and workflow re‑engineering.
- Experience working with Facility Management Systems, BMS, venue/event applications, and mobile applications.
- Familiarity with integration protocols, third‑party APIs, and data exchange frameworks.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
