Speech therapist vacancy in Al-Khor Qatar

Speech Therapist - Al-Khor, Qatar



We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Speech Therapist to join our team in Al-Khor, Qatar. As a Speech Therapist, you will work with individuals who have communication and/or swallowing disorders. Your main responsibility will be to assess, diagnose and treat these disorders using various techniques and strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' speech, language, and swallowing abilities
- Develop personalized treatment plans based on the assessment results
- Implement therapy sessions using evidence-based techniques
- Monitor and track patients' progress towards their goals
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients
- Educate patients and their families on techniques for improving communication and swallowing skills
- Keep detailed records of patient progress and maintain confidentiality at all times

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology/Therapy from an accredited institution
- Valid license to practice as a Speech Therapist in Qatar (or eligibility to obtain one)
- Excellent English language skills (both verbal and written)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Experience working with individuals with communication and/or swallowing disorders is preferred but not required

Salary & Benefits:
This is a contract position offering a salary of 1200$ per month. Accommodation will be provided by the employer. Visa sponsorship will also be provided for non-Qatari candidates.
