To promote and increase awareness of Sika products and systems in the pre-construction phase of projects, with the goal of having Sika's portfolio of products used in the construction phase.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Promote and sell specifications and product systems to specifiers, contractors, and clients through visits, seminars, method statements, and specification bulletins, with input from the Technical Manager and Target Market Managers.
- Develop and maintain good relationships with specifiers, government departments, and key accounts to enhance the Sika brand in the marketplace.
- Manage designated consultant target list as "key accounts". Understand their decision-making structure and roles.
- Report monthly to the GM on activity highlights and challenges.
- Maintain continuous communication with sales personnel regarding upcoming projects, ensuring smooth handover from specification to sales stage.
- Attend external and internal training to stay updated on new products, developments, and techniques.
- Support key target markets including Waterproofing, Concrete, Roofing, Flooring, and Repair & Protection.
- Assist the Technical Manager and Target Managers with technical data, legal, warranty issues, and customer complaints as needed.
- Ensure compliance with the company’s Quality, Environmental, and Health & Safety Management Systems.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
- BA in Civil, Chemical Engineering, or equivalent.
- 5-7 years of experience in a related industry position.
- Ability to sell and present at senior levels.
- Preferably, knowledge of Sika's product portfolio.
