The Spa Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for guests visiting the spa. This role is responsible for creating a warm and welcoming environment, handling all front desk operations efficiently, managing appointments, and ensuring exceptional guest service throughout the spa experience.
Key Responsibilities
Guest Services
- Greet guests in a professional, friendly, and welcoming manner.
- Provide detailed information about spa services, treatments, and facilities.
- Handle check-in and check-out procedures for spa guests.
- Assist guests with inquiries, special requests, and product recommendations.
- Ensure guest satisfaction by addressing feedback promptly and professionally.
Reservations & Scheduling
- Manage spa booking system, scheduling appointments accurately and efficiently.
- Coordinate with therapists and technicians to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Confirm appointments and follow up on cancellations or rescheduling.
Administrative & Front Desk Duties
- Handle phone calls, emails, and walk-in inquiries.
- Maintain accurate guest records and service history.
- Process payments, issue receipts, and reconcile daily cash/credit transactions.
- Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the reception and waiting areas.
Sales & Promotion
- Promote spa services, packages, and retail products to maximize revenue.
- Support marketing campaigns and special promotions.
- Track and report daily sales and booking statistics.
Qualifications
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent; diploma/certificate in hospitality or spa management preferred.
Experience
- Minimum 1–2 years in a receptionist or customer service role (experience in a spa, salon, or hospitality environment preferred).
Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficient in POS systems and booking software (e.g., Mindbody, Zenoti, or equivalent).
