Job summary

Nair Systems in Qatar is seeking a Solution Architect (offshore) to serve as the technical authority and team lead for our digital financial services platform, including mobile remittances and currency exchange. You will own end-to-end system design and governance across on‑premise, OCI, and Azure environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/SE or related field.
• 10+ years in software engineering; 5+ years in a Solution Architect or Lead Architect role.
• Experience in banking/payments/fintech; regulatory exposure.
• TOGAF 9/10 and cloud architect certifications advantageous.
• Leadership of cross-functional teams (5–15) in Agile environments.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end system design and architectural governance.
• Lead development and QA teams to maintain architecture integrity.
• Align platforms across on-prem, OCI, and Azure.
• Translate regulatory & business needs into scalable solutions.
• Ensure compliance with ISO27001, ISO22301, PCI DSS, GDPR.

Job description

Nair Systems is currently looking Solution Architect (offshore) for our Qatar operations with the following terms & conditions.

ROLE PURPOSE

The Solution Architect serves as the technical authority and team lead for COMPANY’s mission-critical digital financial services platform, encompassing mobile remittances, precious metals purchase, Mastercard Multi-Currency Travel Card, and currency exchange. The incumbent is responsible for end-to-end system design, architectural governance, and hands‑on technical leadership across the entire software development lifecycle — translating complex business and regulatory requirements into scalable, secure, high‑availability architecture that meets CENTRAL BANK Technology Risk Instructions, ISO 27001, and ISO 22301 standards. This role bridges strategic vision and delivery execution, providing authoritative guidance to development and QA teams while maintaining architectural integrity across on‑premise, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), and Azure environments mandating mandatory mandatory mandatory mand.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
• Experience:10+ years in software engineering; minimum 5 years in a Solution Architect or Lead Architect role.
• Financial Systems: Demonstrated experience in banking, payments, fintech, or regulated financial services. Mandatory.
• Certifications: TOGAF 9/10, AWS/Azure/OCI Solutions Architect, PCI DSS QSA/ISA advantageous.
• Leadership: Proven track record leading cross‑functional development teams of 5–15 engineers in Agile/Scrum or SAFe environments.
• Regulatory: Working knowledge of banking regulations, PCI DSS, ISO 27001/22301, and GDPR/data privacy principles.
