Job summary

Burj Line Builders is seeking an experienced Social Studies Teacher to deliver the American Curriculum across Grades 5-9 in Qatar, with potential to teach high school elective subjects.

The role focuses on planning engaging lessons, fostering critical thinking, and assessing student progress while working in a confidential educational setting in Doha. A strong command of English and relevant qualifications are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, History, Geography, Social Studies or related discipline.
• Recognised teaching qualification (B.Ed., PGCE, QTS or equivalent) preferred.
• Previous experience teaching Social Studies at middle school level.
• Experience teaching the American Curriculum strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of relevant subjects and teaching methodologies.
• Excellent English communication skills.
