Job summary

EliteHire is hiring a skilled Mason to join our construction team in Ar-Ruwais. You will build and repair walls, floors, and buildings using brick, concrete, and stone, following blueprints and plans.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of masonry experience, reads drawings well, and can work accurately with attention to detail. English communication is required; we offer accommodation and visa support.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Masonry experience in the construction industry.
• Ability to read blueprints and follow construction plans.
• Physically fit and able to lift heavy materials.
• Good communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces for masonry work by cleaning, leveling, and smoothing them.
• L ay out patterns or designs by following blueprints or instructions from supervisors.
• Mix and apply mortar or other adhesives to bind materials together.
• Use tools such as trowels, hammers, levels, and plumb lines for accurate placement of bricks or stones.
• Cut or shape bricks or stones according to specifications using hand or power tools.
• Check finished work for quality standards and make necessary repairs or adjustments.
• Collaborate with other construction workers on larger projects.
