Job summary

PrimeDefense USA in Doha, Qatar is seeking a skilled Carpenter with Indian nationality to join our team. The successful candidate will read blueprints, measure materials, and construct wooden structures using hand and power tools, ensuring accuracy and safety.

This full-time, on-site role offers accommodation and transportation allowances along with annual leave. The ideal applicant is physically fit, detail-oriented, and has proven carpentry experience and the ability to obtain a work visa.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Carpenter.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
• Proficient in using carpentry tools such as saws, hammers, drills, etc.
• Physically fit with good stamina to handle heavy materials.
• Attention to detail with good manual dexterity.
• Excellent time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Build structures such as walls, floors, roofs and cabinets using woodworking machinery and hand tools.
• Construct building frameworks including partitions, joists, studding and rafters according to measurements.
• Measure and mark cutting lines on materials using ruler, pencil, and marking gauge.
• Install structures and fixtures such as windows, frames, flooring and trimmings.
• Inspect work pieces for defects and ensure that they are in accordance with specifications.
• Repair or replace damaged framework or other wooden parts of buildings.
• Follow safety procedures at all times to avoid accidents.
